Service guide
Pets allowed on board
- Dogs, cats, and birds over 8 weeks old can be transported.
- All the other types(hamsters, rabbits, turtles, reptiles, and raptors) are unavailable.
- The service is unavailable for Business Saver class.
- Pets are not allowed as checked baggage.

| Pet carrier requirements |
1) Pets are allowed on board if the total weight of the pet and pet carrier (airport-sold or passenger-owned) is 9 kg or less
※ t'carrier (in-flight pet carrier) is available for purchase exclusively for passengers using the t'pet service 2) Pet carrier criteria - Hard case: Width up to 37 cm, height up to 23 cm - Soft case: Width must fit under the seat, height up to 26 cm ※ Common criteria: Total width/length/height is limited to within 115 cm 3) Pet carrier with enough space that allows the pet to move comfortably 4) Pet carrier that has ventilation and is waterproof 5) Pet carrier with a lock system that can be opened from outside in case of emergency 6) Birds must be transported in a separate steel cage, and the exterior must be covered with opaque cloth |

How to request service
STEP 01
Check t'pet service availability
- Check transport rules and important notes
- For international flights, make sure to check the quarantine rules of the country of departure/destination as they may differ
STEP 02
Request t'pet service
- Via the Reservation Center
- Online (only available in the South Korea - Korean language page for international flights)
- At the airport (Only available for Domestic): Request at the T'way Air counter on the day of departure
- Limited to some services
STEP 03
Complete boarding procedure on the day of departure
- Check rules at the T'way Air counter
1) Check quarantine rules of the relevant country
2) Check your pet carrier and its weight
3) Fill in the agreement form - Pay service fees
- Issue a pet boarding pass (only for domestic flights)
STEP 04
Earn t'pet coupon stamps
- Earn 1 stamp for each t'pet service usage (one-way trip)
- Receive 1 free one-way flight for your pet upon earning 6 stamps for domestic flight / 3 stamps for international flight
- Coupons are valid for 3 years from the date of issue
- Coupons cannot be combined or reissued if lost
- ※ Domestic flight and international flight coupons cannot be combined

Board the aircraft
- Complete the same security check procedure as other passengers
Things to check and important notes
Pet health check
- Your pet must be at least 8 weeks old and in good health
- We advise against the administration of drugs such as sedatives or sleeping pills as it may cause a drop in body temperature and blood pressure, potentially leading to serious risks.
- Pets with strong odors, as well as pets that are unstable, aggressive, unhealthy, or pregnant cannot be transported.
Important notes regarding pet carriers
- Feed your pet food and water at least 2 hours before departure, and line the bottom of the pet carrier with paper, towels, blankets, or pee pads
- Write your name and contact information (in English or Korean) on the exterior of the pet carrier for verification by staff
- Cooperate with the cabin crew's requests regarding the handling of pets on board
- It is strictly prohibited to take your pet out of the carrier, as well as to place the pet carrier on any other places such as on a seat or on your lap
Notice
- Boarding may be denied depending on the health condition of the pet, or if the pet barks or makes noises that may cause discomfort to other passengers during the boarding procedure.
In addition, the passenger is responsible for the care of their pet during the transportation. T'way Air is not responsible for the death or illness of passengers' pets. - For passengers who wish to be seated a certain distance apart from other passengers with pets, contact our staff at the airport counter (However, seat adjustments may be unavailable due to seat availability)
- For passengers with pet allergies or sensitivities, make sure to inform and request assistance from our staff during the boarding procedure
- Changing your itinerary after making a t'pet or t'carrier application will automatically cancel said application. You may make another application after the change.
- Transportation of pets may be denied depending on the rules of the country of destination, in which case the passenger will be responsible for all costs related to the return of the pet
