To ensure the safety of our passengers, we provide the following guidelines for carrying and storing portable batteries on board:
1. Please carry portable batteries with you (do not store them in overhead bins).
2. If your portable battery overheats, please inform a crew member immediately.
3. Please cover the terminals of the power bank with insulating tape to avoid contact with metal, or store it in a plastic bag.
4. Charging power banks and electronic cigarettes using in-flight power supply is prohibited.
※ What is a Short Circuit?
▶ A short circuit occurs when a battery is in a state of being shorted, which can cause excessive current flow, leading to overheating and potentially causing a fire.
※ How to Check the Watt-Hour (Wh) of a Lithium Battery: The watt-hour (Wh) rating can be calculated using voltage (V) X current (Ah), (1Ah = 1,000mAh)
